Wahkpa Chu'gn Archaeological Site is located just west of Havre, Montana on US 2. It is behind the Holiday Village Shopping Mall and across the highway from the Hill County Fairgrounds. Wahkpa Chu'gn Archaeological Site is located 150 miles east of Glacier National Park on US 2; 110 miles northeast of Great Falls, Montana on US 87; 22 miles west of Chinock, Montana, location of Chief Joseph Battlefield, on US 2; and 135 miles south of Medicine Hat, Alberta, Canada via Alberta 41 and MT 232. All services are available in Havre. |
